Job summary

Jackson HealthPros in Danbury, CT seeks an experienced Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) to support physicians in diagnostic tests and procedures. You will operate advanced imaging equipment to capture crucial cardiac data, scrubbing EP and cardiac catheterization cases, including device implants and radial/femoral access.

The role requires ARRT certification, RCIS preferred, and 3+ years in Cardiac Cath/EP labs with BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist.
• 2 years' Cath Lab hospital experience.
• BLS & ACLS Certification (AHA preferred).
• RCIS certification from CCI preferred.
• State CT Radiographer license in conjunction with ARRT/RCIS.
• Minimum 3 years Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab experience.
• Proficient in scrubbing EP procedures (ablations, implants, generator changes, lead revisions, leadless pacing).
• Proficient in scrubbing cardiac catheterization procedures including interventional cases.
• Experience with neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Expertise in radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and closure devices.

Job description

Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Must have 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting
• BLS & ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• State specific licensing when required
• State of CT Radiographer license in conjunction with ARRT (R) and/or RCIS certification through CCI
• Minimum 3 years Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab experience
• Proficient in scrubbing electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and leadless pacing systems
• Proficient in scrubbing cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases, and supporting mechanical circulatory support devices
• Experience supporting neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures, including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions
• Expertise in assisting with radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices

Assignment Details:

• Shift hours: 06:30 AM - 07:00 PM
• Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts with variable start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM
• Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation required based on department needs
