Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Brockton, MA. The role focuses on assisting mothers through the final stages of pregnancy, monitoring vitals, and delivering high-quality patient care with clinical judgment and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license within the state of practice.
• One year of Labor and Delivery clinical experience within the last three years preferred.
• RNC-OB preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for applying the nursing process and delivering patient care in the L&D setting.
• Make clinical judgments effectively and efficiently with supervision.
• Care for mothers during final stages of pregnancy, monitor vitals, and identify complications.
• Provide patient education and address psychosocial needs after delivery.
• Coordinate patient care and assist others in managing care.
