Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Laboratory and Delivery for a travel assignment in Ellsworth, Maine. This 13-week, 36-hour per week, 12-hour night shift travel role offers valuable experience in a top facility.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license with BLS, ACLS, NRP and PALS certifications, plus 18 months of recent acute care L&D experience. Travel benefits include private housing or housing allowance and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Active RN License required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program required.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care L&D setting required.
• Other client facility requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for women before, during and after delivery.
• Monitor mother and newborn vital signs during birth.
• Monitor for high-risk problems and intervene as needed.
• Educate and support mothers and families after birth.
