Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Oklahoma City, OK. You will support obstetric care from labor through immediate postpartum, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires 1 year of L&D experience, active RN license, BLS, and NRP certification. Travel pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this assignment with day-one coverage and relocation support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures clearly to patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing standards.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during labor and delivery.
• Provide immediate postpartum care and newborn assessment.
• Document care and interventions accurately in the medical record.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and other team members.
