Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 14-week travel assignment in Brooklyn, NY. Start ASAP, 34 hours/week, 8-hour shifts, travel employment with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The role requires 1 year of L&D RN experience, NY RN license, BLS, and NRP. Preferred certifications include AWHONN monitoring, STABLE, and ACLS. You will provide obstetric care and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
Valid RN license in NY state.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery.
Administer prescribed medications and obstetric treatments.
Prepare equipment and assist physicians during labor, delivery, and examinations.
Provide immediate postpartum care and stabilize mother and newborn.
Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and nursing team.
