Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Labor & Delivery RN for a 16-week assignment in Fairbanks, Alaska. You will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, providing nursing care before, during and after delivery for our top client facilities.

Requirements include an active RN license, a nursing degree, BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS/AWHONN certifications, and 18 months of recent acute care L&D experience. Travel benefits include housing support, weekly pay, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for women before, during, and after delivery.
• Monitor mother and newborn vital signs.
• Identify and respond to high-risk conditions.
• Educate and support families throughout the birthing process.

Skills
