Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. seeks a Travel RN in Labor and Delivery for an assignment in Austin, TX. You will provide obstetric nursing care, monitor mothers and newborns, and collaborate with physicians in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Position features 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (days and nights), 13 weeks, travel employment with lodging and per diem options. Start date 12/28/2025; active RN license and perinatal experience preferred; CPR required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Texas.
• BLS Provider certification required.
• ACLS and NRP certifications preferred.
• Minimum two years of Labor & Delivery/perinatal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status; administer meds as ordered.
• Provide education and support to mothers before, during and after delivery.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe outcomes.
• Maintain documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
