Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Ada, OK. You will provide comprehensive obstetric care, monitor fetal status, support cesarean procedures, and collaborate with a diverse clinical team.

The role requires a current RN license, one year of L&D experience, and active BLS/NRP certifications. Travel benefits and competitive pay are offered, with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.
• Preferred: AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification.
• Preferred: STABLE and ACLS Certifications (AHA / ARC).

Responsibilities

• Communicate obstetric procedures to patients and families clearly.
• Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing standards.
• Assist physician during labor and delivery and examinations.
• Provide postpartum care and newborn assessment.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and team members.
