Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Aiken, South Carolina. This role requires 12-hour night shifts and offers travel compensation with clinical support.

The Labor and Delivery RN will provide comprehensive obstetric care, monitor fetal well-being, and collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists to ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Current RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric nursing care to laboring patients and newborns.
• Administer medications and assist physicians during labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal status and respond to obstetric emergencies per protocols.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and neonatal support.
• Document care accurately in medical records and participate in QA activities.
