Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Lorain, OH. You will provide obstetric nursing care, monitor mother and baby, and collaborate with physicians and staff in a high-acuity setting.

The role requires one year of L&D experience, an Ohio RN license, and current BLS and NRP certifications. Competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and travel support are offered.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in Ohio.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP Certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during labor, delivery, and examinations.
• Provide immediate postpartum care and assess mother and newborn.
• Educate patients on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and team members.
