Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Elkin, NC. Start ASAP. Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights. Travel role with tax-free stipend discussed. RN with 3 years acute care needed; BLS/ACLS/NRP required.

Responsibilities include monitoring during labor, assisting physicians, newborn care, and maintaining a safe, calm environment for the mother and baby. Benefits include weekly pay and guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required.
• 3 years of recent acute care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient throughout labor.
• Assist physicians during deliveries and procedures as required.
• Support mother before, during, and after labor and ensure safety of newborn.
• Maintain clean and safe delivery environment.
• Provide emotional support and effective communication with patients and families.
