Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery in Elkin, North Carolina. This rural OB unit requires NC or compact RN licensure and 2+ years of obstetric experience.

Shifts are 12 hours at night (7p–7a), 36 hours/week, for a 13-week assignment with 1 opening. You’ll work with Epic EMR, Alaris pumps, Omnicell, GE monitors and NICU equipment, with on-site parking and travel stipends.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NC or compact) required.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of OB/L&D experience; most recent within the last year.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermittent Fetal Monitoring.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration.
• Minimum 1 professional reference within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN.

Responsibilities

• Assess and care for laboring patients throughout labor and delivery.
• Assess OB triage patients over 20 weeks gestation and newborns postpartum.
• Circulate in urgent or emergent C-sections and support CNAs on shift.
