Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Des Moines, IA. Night shifts, 12 hours, 36 hours per week, competitive pay and benefits.

The RN will monitor maternal and fetal health, administer medications, prepare equipment, and collaborate with obstetricians and anesthesia to deliver safe, evidence-based care during labor and the immediate postpartum period. Join a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Current RN license valid in the posting state.
• Active BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• NRP Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Monitor mother and fetus; document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and assist with procedures.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and anesthesia team.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies per protocols.
