Advantis Medical Staffing in Elkin, North Carolina is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse for a 13-week assignment at Atrium Health - Hugh Chatham Health. The RN will monitor maternal and fetal well-being, support labor, birth, and recovery, and respond to obstetric emergencies.

The position offers a dayshift with a 3x12 schedule and pays $2,079 per week. Travel-friendly credentialing, Day 1 benefits, and license support are provided to help start quickly.

Qualifications

2+ years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
Active North Carolina RN License.

Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret maternal and fetal status, including electronic fetal monitoring, escalating concerns promptly
Support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including oxytocin titration as ordered and per facility protocol
Provide immediate newborn care and support neonatal resuscitation per NRP guidelines
