Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Silver Spring, Maryland.

The assignment is 13 weeks long, with 36 hours per week, on nights in a 12-hour shift. This travel role includes comprehensive benefits and credentialing support through MedPro. You’ll join a Joint Commission-certified agency providing travel nursing opportunities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN certifications
• 18 months of recent Acute Care Labor and Delivery experience

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery nurses provide care to women and their newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth.
• Monitor patients for potential high risk problems.
• Educate and support mothers and their families after giving birth.
