Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Pratt, Kansas. The role is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, rotating 12-hour nights, requiring 3 years of acute care experience and several certifications.

You will support care before, during, and after delivery and assist physicians with epidurals and cesarean preparations. As a travel LD RN, you will monitor labor, ensure patient comfort and safety, care for newborns, and handle post-delivery

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor labor and contractions, assist mother during delivery.
• Prepare patient for procedures and assist physicians during epidurals or cesarean planning.
• Provide immediate newborn care and monitor postpartum patients.
• Maintain patient safety and cleanliness; assist with equipment and supplies.
