Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact preferred).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (NRP and fetal monitoring preferred).
• 1-2 years recent L&D experience.

Job Details

• Location: Clyde, North Carolina
• Start Date: 05/27/2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours/week
• Shift: 12-hour nights

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs during labor and delivery
• Assist during childbirth with physicians and midwives
• Administer medications, including epidurals and Pitocin
• Support families with birth plans and newborn care education
• Manage emergencies like preeclampsia, hemorrhage, fetal distress
• Maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (NRP and fetal monitoring preferred)
• 1-2 years recent L&D experience
• Knowledge of obstetric protocols and fetal monitoring
• Ability to make calm, confident decisions in high-pressure situations
