Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a hospital setting. This role involves providing compassionate and competent care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum, working closely with a multidisciplinary team. The position requires flexibility to float to Mother Baby units and other units as a safety companion, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse), American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification with recertification every 2 years, Electronic Fetal Monitoring Series Certificate of Completion (or equivalent AWHONN approved course) (not required if a Lactation RN), American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (not required if a Lactation RN), competence and willingness to practice modified primary nursing, and two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education.
• Preferred Qualifications: One year labor and delivery experience
• Additional Information: The facility reserves the right to cancel three (3) shifts per 13-week contract in the event of low census or unforeseen circumstances. Candidates must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered. The position is scheduled to start on 09/28/2026 and end on 12/28/2026. The successful candidate should be adaptable to work in a busy, stressful environment, demonstrating sound judgment and professionalism.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
