American Traveler is seeking an experienced Travel RN for Labor and Delivery in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The 13-week assignment requires a 36-hour week with a 12-hour night shift in a busy unit that includes a Level III NICU and occasional float to Mother Baby.

Required: IL RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, Nursys verification within 30 days, and 1 year of L&D nursing experience. Local candidates accepted with facility policy adjustments.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required.
• NRP certification from AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics required.
• Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to assignment start.

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position in a busy unit with Level III NICU and occasional float to Mother Baby.

Responsibilities

• Busy hospital Labor and Delivery unit with antepartum and OB-ED areas
• Level III NICU present
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week assignment
• May float to Mother Baby unit as needed
• Works every other weekend with holiday rotation
• Duties include caring for patients throughout labor and delivery and possible support in antepartum or OB-ED as needed
• Expected to support high acuity patients and collaborate with Level III NICU
• Participation in holiday coverage is required
• Required to provide two professional references and a copy of driver’s license
• Local candidates accepted but will receive a reduced rate per facility policy
