Job Location

Perth Amboy, New Jersey, Unit: 1096192C :PA DEL ROOM

Role Responsibilities
  • Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs during labor and delivery
  • Assist physicians and midwives during childbirth
  • Administer medications, including epidurals and Pitocin
  • Support families with birth plans and newborn care education
  • Manage emergencies like preeclampsia, hemorrhage, fetal distress
  • Maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
  • Active RN license (Compact preferred)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP and fetal monitoring preferred
  • 1-2 years recent L&D experience
  • Knowledge of obstetric protocols and fetal monitoring
  • Ability to make confident decisions in high-pressure situations
