Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel assignment in Fishersville, VA. The position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts and a 26-week contract at a Level II obstetric setting.

The ideal candidate holds ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP certifications and will provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, assist in C-sections, and monitor antepartum, postpartum, and neonatal patients in a Level II unit.

Qualifications

• RN with Labor and Delivery specialization and current licensure.
• ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and NRP certifications required.
• Travel RN with ability to meet assignment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for laboring patients including obstetric procedures such as versions, IOL, cervical ripening, IUFD care, and bereavement
• Assist with Cesarean sections and manage mother-baby couplet care
• Monitor and care for patients in antepartum, postpartum, and neonatal Level II nursery
• Help with procedural and observational triage patients as needed
• Support obstetric and neonatal care teams in a Level 2 inpatient obstetrical environment
