VyTalent Solutions invites a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join a 13-week travel contract at a hospital in Frederick, MD. The role runs 19:00–07:30 with 36 hours per week and rotating holidays; the setting is a hospital with dedicated obstetric care from 20 weeks gestation to six weeks postpartum.

Eligible candidates hold an MD RN license (or Compact) and a fetal monitoring certification (C-EFM preferred, AWHONN acceptable).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of current Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• OB Triage experience required.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license in hand at submission.
• Active fetal monitoring certification required: C-EFM preferred, or AWHONN Intermediate accepted but C-EFM needed for extensions.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric care from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum.
• Monitor fetal health with fetal monitoring procedures.
• Assist in labor, delivery, and postpartum care with modern equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Support family-centered care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Minimum 3 years of current, strong Labor & Delivery RN experience, OB Triage experience required, Previous travel nursing experience required, Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission, Active fetal monitoring certification required: C-EFM preferred, or AWHONN Intermediate is accepted but C-EFM must be obtained if contract extensions meet or exceed 1 year from initial contract start date

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive obstetric care for patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum.
• Monitor fetal health and progress using established fetal monitoring procedures.
• Assist in labor, delivery, and postpartum care using modern technology and state-of-the-art equipment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort during labor and delivery.
• Support family-centered care in a dynamic hospital environment.
