Job summary

Trinity Health announces a Travel Registered Nurse assignment in Ann Arbor for Labor and Delivery. This role offers premium pay, flexible scheduling, and travel opportunities across the health system under the FirstChoice staffing program.

Position focuses on floating across units/locations, with a strong emphasis on clinical excellence, patient safety, and teamwork. 13-week assignment, 3x12 shifts, overnight schedule, and competitive weekly rate are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN licensure in the applicable state(s) of practice.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Qualify and float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations/regions.
• Apply professional practice processes: Assess, Identify outcomes, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within license and scope of knowledge.
• Maintain accountability for delegation and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement.

** Only for nurses coming to Michigan from out of state, over 60 miles from home to hospital. You cannot work in the same metropolitan area greater than 12 months in order to receive this rate. **
