Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks an experienced RN for a demanding Labor & Delivery assignment in Ganado, Arizona. You will care for unstable newborns, monitor maternal and fetal status, and assist with stabilization before transport to a higher level of care.

Working nights on a 13‑week contract, you’ll provide Level I–II newborn care in a critical-access hospital, with independence and collaborative support from the care team as needed.

Qualifications

• RN license with Labor and Delivery experience.
• Experience stabilizing unstable newborns and coordinating transport.
• Ability to work independently in a critical-access hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care throughout labor, delivery and recovery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status.
• Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies.
• Assist with deliveries and immediate postpartum care.
• Perform newborn assessments and stabilization.
• Support higher-acuity newborns awaiting transport.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders.
• Educate mothers and families.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary teams.
