Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Winfield, Kansas is seeking a travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, nights. Start date is 10/12/2026. This travel role offers a competitive pay package and full credentialing support.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, an accredited nursing degree, BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications, and 18 months of recent L&D experience. Client facilities determine additional requirements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS and AWHONN certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care L&D setting.
• Other requirements as determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery nurses provide care across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor mother and baby vitals during birth.
• Monitor for potential high-risk problems and respond appropriately.
• Educate and support mothers and families after birth.
