Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing in Tahlequah, OK is seeking a travel nurse RN in Labor and Delivery for a 14-week assignment starting 11/02/2026. This travel role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts and competitive compensation, plus first-day benefits and a supportive clinical team.
You will provide obstetric care, monitor mother and baby, collaborate with physicians, and ensure safety and quality while on assignment.
Qualifications
- One year's recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- NRP Certification required.
Responsibilities
- Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques.
- Prepare equipment and assist physician during labor, delivery, and examinations.
- Provide immediate postpartum care and newborn assessment.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and team members.
- Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols.
