Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN for a travel assignment in Baltimore, MD. This role requires active MD or compact RN license and 2–3 years of L&D experience, with strong charge and preceptor skills. You will work 4x12-hour nights, 48 hours per week, and may be floated to related units as needed.

Qualifications

• Active MD or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience; may consider 2 years.
• Charge and preceptor experience required.
• BLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN certifications.
• Must hold or register for C-EFM through NCC within two weeks.

Responsibilities

• Care for laboring, antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients.
• Circulating for C-sections and triage responsibilities.
• Follow Baby Friendly hospital practices; 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-patient ratio.
• Night shift coverage and potential float to related units.
• Utilize Cerner charting system for documentation.
