Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in Henderson, Nevada. The role requires 3 years of acute care experience and certifications ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP, and STABLE. You’ll work 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, for a 13‑week assignment.

As a travel L&D RN, you’ll assist physicians during epidurals or cesarean prep, monitor labor, support newborn care, and help ensure both medical and emotional needs of patients are met throughout the birthing process.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP and STABLE certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of acute care experience requested.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Assess cervical progression and monitor dilation.
• Assist physician during delivery and with delivery instruments.
• Provide immediate care to newborn and support mother post-delivery.
