MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Austin, Texas. The role includes a 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week duration.

Requirements include an active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, 18 months of recent L&D experience, and BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS/AWHONN certifications; additional client facility requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS and AWHONN as required by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery nurses provide care to women and their newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor vital signs of mother and baby during birth.
• Monitor patients for potential high-risk problems.
• Educate and support mothers and families after birth.
