Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Labor & Delivery RN in Austin, Texas for a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week. Shift is 9 hours, days. Travel employment type.

Requirements include active RN license, accredited nursing degree, BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS/AWHONN certifications, and 18 months of recent L&D experience in acute care settings. Additional client-specific criteria may apply.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS and AWHONN certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent acute care L&D experience.
• Other client-specific requirements to be determined.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for women before, during, and after delivery.
• Monitor mother and newborn vital signs during labor.
• Identify and respond to high-risk conditions.
• Educate and support mothers and families after delivery.
