Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for travel assignment in Salinas, CA. This role requires RN licensure, accredited nursing education, and certifications (BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS).

Minimum 18 months’ L&D experience is expected, with duties spanning antepartum through neonatal care. Travel benefits include housing options or allowances, weekly pay, and comprehensive credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS/AWHONN certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting.
• Client facility may have additional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for women before, during and after delivery.
• Monitor mother and newborn vital signs during labor and delivery.
• Identify high-risk conditions and respond appropriately.
• Educate families and support patient-centered care.
