Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for night shift in Odessa, Texas. The role requires 2+ years of L&D experience, active TX or compact RN license, and current ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE with AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification.

Work 3x12 or 4x12 hours with 1:2 patient ratio in a hospital setting. Cerner charting experience preferred and a dynamic start date 3–4 weeks from offer.

Qualifications

• Active Texas or compact RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required.
• Skilled in labor and delivery management and fetal monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn care.
• Perform fetal monitoring including internal and external EFM, IUPC placement.
• Assist with vaginal and C-section deliveries, including circulating and recovery care.
• Care for antepartum and high-risk antepartum patients, including NST/OCT testing.
• Support newborn care including APGAR scoring and thermoregulation.
