Healthforce Healthcare LLC is seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Chillicothe, OH. The 13-week contract offers 36 guaranteed hours per week, night shifts, and a Level 2 L&D unit caring for patients 32 weeks and above.

Start date 09/21/2026, with on-site support and 3x12-hour shifts. You'll collaborate with physicians and midwives, manage obstetric care, document in the EMR, and rotate through cesarean sections as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio.
• NRP, BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 5+ years labor and delivery experience preferred; travel and EPIC experience preferred.
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the assignment location.
• Ability to work the night shift in a hospital labor and delivery setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a Level 2 Labor and Delivery unit for laboring patients 32 weeks and above.
• Triage patients, monitor maternal and fetal status, and respond to obstetric complications.
• Circulate cesarean sections and manage labor and delivery with physicians and midwives.
• Support postpartum recovery and newborn stabilization following vaginal or cesarean deliveries.
• Document care accurately in the EMR and coordinate with the care team for discharge planning.
