Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery in Templeton, CA. This 13-week travel assignment offers 36 guaranteed hours weekly with 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) and a start date of 08/24/2026.

Requires CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP within 6 months, and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification on hire. Responsibilities include direct obstetric care, fetal monitoring, and coordination with the care team.

Qualifications

• California RN license active and in good standing.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP; AWHONN fetal monitoring certification on hire.
• Minimum two years acute care RN experience; L&D preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct obstetric care for labor, delivery, and postpartum patients.
• Monitor fetal status and respond to intra-partum changes per policy.
• Assist with labor, cesarean, and postpartum procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team for discharge planning.
• Document in EMR and maintain required certifications.
