Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse for a 12-week assignment in Pella, Iowa. The position involves weekend night shifts on a 12-hour schedule, with a pay package based on 36 hours per week.

Requirements include IA or compact RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and a BSN preferred. Benefits typically include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and licensure reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in IA or compact license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association required.
• Current ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery setting.
• Care for laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients with evidence-based nursing care.
• Schedule is Friday through Sunday, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., 12-hour nights.
• Assignment length is 12 weeks.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health care team and supervise support staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and coworkers.
