Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 17-week travel assignment in Nantucket, MA. This role involves direct obstetric patient care, fetal monitoring, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold an MA RN license, BLS, and NRP, with ACLS or AWHONN fetal monitoring preferred. Travel nurses receive competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in a supportive clinical environment.

Qualifications

• One years’ recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Current MA RN license in good standing; state compliance.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• AWHONN fetal monitoring certification preferred.
• STABLE certification and other relevant credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess maternal and fetal health and monitor labor progress.
• Administer prescribed medications and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with obstetric and anesthesia teams for safe deliveries.
• Document care and monitor vitals, fetal status, and newborns.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care.
