Qualifications
- One year or more of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- NRP Certification
Responsibilities
- Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
- Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing practices
- Assist during labor, delivery, and postpartum examinations
- Provide immediate postpartum care and newborn stabilization
- Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists to ensure cohesive care
