Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Mount Vernon, WA. You will deliver comprehensive obstetric care, monitor maternal and fetal health, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes for mothers and babies.

The role requires recent L&D experience, an active RN license, BLS, and NRP certification, with benefit-rich pay and travel support. Join a dedicated clinical team and travel with purpose.

Qualificações

• One year recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• RN license valid per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination.
• Provide immediate postpartum care, including maternal/newborn assessment and stabilization.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other team members to deliver cohesive care.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols.
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions in the medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement to enhance maternal and neonatal outcomes.
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpretation.
• Assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures.
• Comply with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
