Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level IV Labor and Delivery position in Austin, TX. The traveler will join a high-volume perinatal unit with 500+ deliveries monthly and will work a 12-hour night shift from 19:00 to 07:30, for a 13-week assignment.

The role requires an active Texas RN license, 2+ years of L&D experience, and current BLS/ACLS and NRP certifications. In-house teaching, travel perks, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery or perinatal experience in a high-volume setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA or Red Cross.
• NRP certification from AAP required.
• Intermediate fetal monitoring certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level IV Maternal Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting.
• Handle high-risk cases with 500+ deliveries per month.
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30.
• Engage with an academic teaching team and private OB providers.
• Provide care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
