Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in Seattle, WA. This role involves caring for high-risk obstetric patients in a high-volume facility, including postpartum care and response to high-acuity situations.

Requirements include BLS/NRP, compact licensure, 2 years L&D experience, and within 50 miles of the facility. Assignment length options are 13 or 26 weeks with 12-hour night shifts at 48 hours/week.

Qualifications

• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Current licensure with a valid compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility.
• Travel RN with 13 or 26-week assignment options and 3x12s or 4x12s.

Responsibilities

• Provide postpartum care and manage high-acuity obstetric patients.
• Administer medications such as Pitocin and Magnesium sulfate.
• Support postpartum hemorrhage cases and respond to substance withdrawal.
• Handle cesarean sections, episiotomies, incision care, perineum care and fundus management.
• Prepare for census surge and possible float between sister facilities.
