Certifications BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN (beginner/intermediate) are required; STABLE preferred. This travel assignment emphasizes labor/delivery care and adherence to AWHONN guidelines. Position features day shift, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 3x12s, potential float to other campuses, and travel housing plus perdiem benefits.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration.
• Required BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN (Beginner or Intermediate; Advanced preferred).
• 2-3 years of Labor and Delivery experience required.
• Staffing ratios per AWHONN guidelines; high-risk antepartum and newborn care experience preferred.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery unit assignment with a 13-week duration.
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• May float to another campus or floor as needed.
• Provide comprehensive antepartum, labor/delivery, postpartum, and newborn care.
