Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN in Labor and Delivery for Seattle, WA. You will care for women during labor, delivery and postpartum, at a high-acuity facility, with a diverse patient population.

The role requires at least 2 years of high-acuity obstetric experience, BLS and NRP certifications, and proficiency with EPIC EHR. Must hold a compact state license and be able to work 12-hour day shifts across a 48-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of high-acuity obstetric care experience, including magnesium sulfate, Pitocin, Foley catheter management, postpartum hemorrhage, and vaginal delivery procedures.
• Compact state license in hand at submission; EPIC EHR experience is mandatory.
• Certifications: BLS and NRP.
• Ability to handle a high census surge and manage a 4-couplet workload; available for 3 out of 5 holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
• Maintain safety protocols and patient monitoring per unit standards.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams in a high-volume setting.
