Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Somerset, Kentucky. The position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts (days/nights) in a travel employment setting.

The role requires an RN with at least 1 year of acute care hospital experience and a current state nursing license. Allied staff need 6 months of experience; a degree in the relevant specialty and applicable certifications are required.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
Allied 6 months of experience.
Current state nursing license.
Degree in corresponding specialty as required.
Appropriate certifications and licensure as needed for the position.
Ability to communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

Perform plan of care, including medication administration, specimens, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care.
Monitor and record patient condition and communicate with care team, physician, patient, and family.
Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support needs.
Educate patient and family appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
