Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel assignment in Everett, WA. The RN will provide care throughout labor and delivery for women, monitor contractions, assist with epidurals and cesarean prep, and care for newborns. Must have 3+ years in acute care and required L&D certifications.

This travel position offers 13 weeks duration, 36 hours per week, and a night shift schedule. Benefits include weekly pay and medical coverage through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, NRP.
Minimum 2 years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

Support for labor and delivery patients before, during and after birth.
Monitor labor, contractions, and breathing techniques; assist physicians as needed.
Immediate care of newborns and post-delivery care.
Assist with epidurals, cesarean prep and delivery instrumentation.
