American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment in California. Candidates must have an active California RN license and at least 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience, with EPIC and Allscripts charting experience preferred.
The role includes 19:00–07:30 shifts, on-call twice monthly, and potential cross-coverage across triage, LDR, OR, NICU, and post-partum units. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced; references are required for
Qualifications
- Active California RN license required.
- Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced.
- EPIC experience required; Allscripts charting experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Labor and Delivery unit covering triage, LDR, OR, NICU, and Post-Partum areas.
- 8? shift coverage; 24/7 OB hospitalist and OB anesthesia support.
- Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, and adults.
- Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30; 4 weekend shifts per month.
- Mandatory on-call twice per month in addition to scheduled shifts.
- May float to Perinatal if needed.
- Use SBAR, Omnicell, and Allscripts systems.
