Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse for a 12-hour day shift in Greeley, Colorado. The assignment runs for 12 weeks with a 36-hour work week and tax-free stipends per policy. Immediate start date and 3 years of acute care L&D experience preferred.

ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications are required or may be pursued before assignment. The role involves direct patient care before, during, and after delivery, including monitoring labor, assisting with pain management, neonatal

Qualifications

• 3 years of acute care experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current RN license with obstetric certifications (ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN).
• Willingness to travel and work 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Assess cervical dilation and progression.
• Maintain clean, dry beds and manage birthing environment.
• Assist physicians with delivery tools and patient prep.
• Provide immediate care of newborn.
