TotalMed RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Corpus Christi, TX. This travel role involves 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts and requires ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications along with 3 years of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS and NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression.
• Keep beds clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids during delivery.
• Assist physician with drapes, gloves, gowns and delivery tools.
• Provide immediate care of newborn.
