Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse in Sun City West, AZ. The role requires 12-hour day shifts and about 36 hours per week for an immediate opening.

Ideal candidates have ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP and at least three years of acute care experience; travel nursing experience is a plus. TotalMed RN provides benefits and support for travel assignments, with focus on patient care and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications required.
• 3+ years of acute care RN experience.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient during labor.
• Monitor contractions and breathing techniques.
• Assist physicians with epidurals, delivery instruments, and newborn care.
• Prepare for cesarean deliveries as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout labor.
