American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics RN in California with active CA RN licensure and EPIC EMR experience. The role includes night shifts (1900–0730), 36–48 hours per week, and duties in an acute obstetrics unit with cesarean section coverage.

The ideal candidate holds BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications, and BSN is preferred. Local candidates welcomed with travel considerations and housing support listed in benefits.

Formación

• Active CA RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• BSN preferred.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience within the last 3 months.
• Documented explanation for employment breaks of 1 month or longer.

Responsabilidades

• Acute Obstetrics unit within a hospital setting.
• Night shift, 1900-0730, 36-48 hours per week.
• Take over recovery during cesarean section when needed.
• Requires EPIC EMR experience.
• Delivers nursing care per established standards and the nursing process.
• Supervises staff and coordinates care across disciplines.
• Collects data to determine diagnosis and care plans.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and providers to ensure safe care.
• Participates in discharge planning for continuity of care.
• Provides patient and family education throughout the care process.
• Accepts local candidates at same rate as travel candidates.
• RTO >5 days may be declined; prior license hits not considered.
