Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Travel RN for Labor & Delivery in Seattle, WA, to join a high-acuity hospital unit. You will circulate, provide newborn care, and support obstetric teams during deliveries.

The position requires 3–5 years of high-risk L&D, active WA or compact RN license, BLS & NRP, and Epic EMR proficiency. Shifts are 12 hours (7:00–19:30), 36 hours/week for 12 weeks, with travel benefits and stipends.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license
• 3-5 years of high-acuity Labor & Delivery experience
• Circulating and newborn care experience including eye care, Vitamin K, and newborn assessment
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Epic EMR experience

Responsibilities

• Work in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Circulate during deliveries and provide newborn care
• Attend to postpartum and antepartum patients as needed
• Float to Postpartum, Antepartum, and sister Mother/Baby units as required
• Follow AWHONN guidelines for staffing and care
• Schedule: 3x12 hour days (7:00–19:30), every other weekend/holidays
